Tom is a Senior Analyst in the Energy Smart Technologies (EST) practice at Bloomberg New Energy Finance. The EST team, consisting of analysts and researchers around the globe, produces in-depth research and analysis on emerging technologies such as the smart grid, energy storage, green buildings, energy efficiency, advanced vehicles and fuel cells.

Tom is responsible for the EST team’s analysis of energy efficiency. His work at Bloomberg New Energy Finance has included in-depth research on LED lighting, heat pumps, superconductors, electrochromic windows as well as analysis of the business models, financing structures and policies driving the deployment of those technologies.
